Motorized Carbonators
A motorized carbonator consists of a carbonation tank into which flow carbon dioxide gas and pumped fresh water both at pressures from 80 to 200 psi. The CO2 gas is diffused into the water through a carbonation device or stone and seltzer is thereby produced as the water adsorbs the gas into solution. Carbonators are all equipped with check valves to prevent the seltzer from reentering the pump and water system. All carbonators are SPECIAL ORDER and once shipped cannot be returned for any reason. If not functioning or damaged they will be repaird or replaced by UPS, Trucking Conpany or manufacturer's Warranty.

All carbonators must have their ventable check valves vented to a drain to prevent flooding if the water level suitch is damaged by electrical surges or other physical damage.

Commercial Motor Carbonators are mechanical devices which uses a motor to force water into a carbonation cylinder and a constant pressure of CO2 from a regulated CO2 cylinder to carbonate the water pumped into the carbonation chamber. flows cold water, CO2, and electricity. Carbonators output a continuous supply of wonderfully carbonated water. All carbonators on this page should be installed by a professional plumber in order to assure proper safety and hygienic procedures are followed. Sanitation requirements are the same as for drinking water.
Note: The input water temperature of the faucet or draft arm must be between 32 and 34 degrees F. for the proper retention of carbonation when the seltzer or soda is poured. Failure to have the seltzer cold will cause partial to total loss of carbonation.

McCann Insulated Recirculating Carbonator | |

The McCann Fast Flow Carbonator No. 5415 has the same High Usage as the 5407 but has an insulated tank and a recirculating pump to constantly recirculate the carbonated water through the insulated carbonation tank of the Big Mac Carbonator's 2 gallon tank. CAUTION: Never serve soda or seltzer through any item which is not specifically designed for soda and seltzer. All seltzer fittings must be stainless steel or an equivalent carbolic acid resistant material. Use only soda and seltzer faucets and stainless steel fittings when using a carbonator. Seltzer is very corrosive and will corrode the metals used in common faucets and brass fittings causing poisoning.
