Cold Plates & CP Fittings
All cold plates (cp) and booster boxes are Special Order and cannot be returned after you receive them. Be very sure before you order them that they are the ones you want. We will not take them back because you did not measure before you bought one. NOTE: All cold plates are shipped directly to you from our suppliers so it is impossible to guarantee shipping times on these items.
All Cold Plates are Cast Aluminum cooling blocks with ¼" Stainless Steel Tubing cast inside. Except for the item number 100 they all require Cold Plate Fittings and CP Washersto connect to lines.
These cold plates are used in bars, pubs, restaurants, soda fountains, taverns, (electronics manufacturers, test facilities and medical offices for who knows what) and even homes to cool any 55°F beverage to ice temperatures. Some industrial and medical applications use them by flowing cold fluid through them to cool things placed on their surface.
When it is impossible to keep the internal pre-cooled product temperature below 55° F. and continuous draw is expected, we recommend using a coil box (cooler) with a 120 feet of stainless steel coilinside that is covered with ice. With the 120 foot coil room temperature product can be served continuously at 40 to 42° F. As with the cold plate, product temperatures will be maintained even during continuous draw with the full 120 foot coil. High temperature (hot) product must be drawn at a lesser than continuous rate if the 40 to 42° F. is desired at the output.
When using a cold plate it is important to keep the plate from setting in any water so that it is continually in contact with the ice. A drain in the cold box is recommended. Periodic pushing down on the cold plate will help cool the product.
Beer, Cider, Seltzer, Soda & Wine Cold Plates
Note: Order the Inlet and Outlet cp fittings separately but only use S/S fittings on cider, wine, soda and seltzer. These cold plates require ½" by 16 tpi flare fittings.

 All booster boxes are made from stainless steel Insulated Ice Chests, cold plates and foamed-in-place insulation. Most may be available with optional sliding or Lift-off Lids at additional cost.
Please note as s/s prices increase these prices may be obsolete and will increase without notice.
All have sealed in cold plates to meet Health Department codes which require commercial establishments to not have exposed cold plates in ice that may be served to the public. |

Pre-Mix Booster Boxes with SIX fifteen foot stainless steel coils. These Pre-Mix booster boxes require stainless steel cold plate fittings. Order Separately for the hose size you are using.
