Order drawing No. 6690 and the cost is $11.95 Refundable with purchase of a grand deluxe refrigerator conversion kit.
If you need a draft beer line extended from a home refrigerator but don't want the expense of a commercial glycol system ($1100.00+) we have the drawing for every "Do It Yourself". It is a simple drawing showing easily available parts that are obtainable everywhere.
Some electrical wiring and plumbing experience is necessary. Professional help may be required.
The plans are for line extensions of up to 20 feet from the fridge. Further distances will be too line lossy to work as the BTU drop in the line will warm the beer. If you have the space, 3" of foam insulation on all out of fridge lines will extend that distance but this is usually impractical. If you are a lucky person, try it over 20 feet, it may work but the line will loose 12 BTU/foot and the fridge will soon run out of capability.
Plans shown have the freezer controller separated from the refrigerator controller and hard wired into the 9025 thermostat which will require you to get detailed wiring diagrams of your fridge. THis is usually on the back of the refrigerator. We cannot supply any information about this operation and if you are unsure you can do it just have the fridge plug into the 9025 and control the whole unit at 30° F. It is safer and will maintain its UL listing that way but it is less efficient. If the easy method is used no wiring will be necessary.
